Blog repost:  Mazama writes an informative and insightful blog that AML highly recommends. Be sure to read her other entries as well, but this one is particularly timely as it calls the haters out for their behaviors.

Real moms and Fake profiles

What is a real mom?

A real mom is one who is there for their child. They kiss the boo boos, calm them after a bad dream, soothe them when they don't feel well. They take pictures, they attend school functions, birthday parties, they go on trips. They document their child's lives. It doesn't matter if they are the one who gave birth or not. It doesn't matter if they share the same DNA or not. A real mom is there when their child asks for instructions, guidance and understanding. A real mom loves their child unconditionally.

Kyron had two moms. He had Terri and he had Desiree. Kyron was being raised by Terri because he lived with her and spent most of his time with her. This cannot be denied. To try to diminish this simply because you hate her and she didn't give birth to him is juvenile and an insult to anyone who has the role of mom. They are both his real moms.

None of us know what the family dynamics are. None of us know what any of these people were really like behind closed doors. None of us. We all have opinions but only a sad and narrow minded person would try to demean and disqualify anyone who is not a bio mom or as Donna implies a "real mom" and actually believe it to be acceptable. It isn't. It is a slap in the face of every step mom, foster mom and adopted mom out there who have taken on those roles with open hearts, minds and arms to kids who otherwise might not have a real mom to love them. I wonder how many of the anti Terri haters who aren't bio moms to their kids have the nerve to admit that they don't agree with Donna's asinine comment?

With regards as to whether Terri has a hearing impairment, none of us know if that is true or not. None of us. Just because you don't see a hearing aid in pictures does not mean she doesn't wear one or have hearing problems. You don't know (unless you were a friend of Terri's), so to post that she doesn't only highlights your ignorance.

With regards to the lying...there is no proof in that article that Terri lied about anything. Jamie was the person making the statement. Did she repeat it correctly? Did she mean that Ms. Porter was a new, first year teacher with PPS or did she mean that Ms. Porter was a new, first year teacher at Skyline that year? See how that can be interpreted? If Terri said that, was she only repeating what she had been told by someone else? Would that still make her a liar? Have any of you ever lied? Should you be treated like you are treating Terri? See how stupid this whole thing is?

Finally....It is ever so amusing to read, after all of the accusations about "fake profiles" being made, how astute and thought provoking you think a dick heads comments are. Do you see the knee slapping irony? lol

"Oh Dick Head...what you say is spot on! I hadn't thought about it that way before. Thanks Dick Head!" lol really? Whoever that person is cannot even use his real name? and you all are going on and on about fake profiles? Yet you give a dick head accolades for his/her opinion? omg that's too funny.

Does the dick head have the balls to post under their real name? Doubtful.

I have never disputed that Kyron was being raised by Terri or that he spent more time with her. What I HAVE disputed is those who help spread Terri's lie that she "raised him from an infant".

Despite what you believe "Mazama", I don't hate Terri. I dislike her yes, but my dislike has nothing to do with her raising Kyron or because she didn't give birth to him. That accusation is completely moronic.  My dislike stems from the fact that she had a precious, loving little boy and she pushed him away at every turn. I dislike her because in the first day or 2 of Kyron's disappearance, she could laugh and comment about getting "poked" on FB, but in that same time frame couldn't find the time to change her profile picture to one of him. Several people asked her to post a photo to use for fliers, but she never did, nor did she respond to their requests. Even when her friends were saying they were going to plaster FB with Kyron's photo. No response. And what did her friends finally say after getting nothing from her? "Never mind, we got one off Kaine's profile".

I don't like the fact that within 3 weeks of Kyron's disappearance, she was sending  graphic, pornographic photos of herself to Mike Cook and carried on a conversation with him that would make a sailor blush. If you choose to like and believe someone who behaves in this manner less than a month after "the son she loved more than life itself" just up and vanishes, then I feel sorry for you.

I defy you to show me one time I have demeaned or disqualified Terri or ANYONE for not being a  "bio" mom. That has nothing to do with my beliefe Terri is in some way responsible for Kyron's disappearance.


The series of Desiree is Kyron's REAL mom blogs was in direct response to the BS being dished out on AML and OL. All the "Terri is Kyron's REAL mommy and Desiree is just his Medford mommy". (according to Sandi Lessman, this is what Kyron called Desiree)  How Kyron will be "hurt" if he ever reads the things said about his REAL mommy, Terri, Yet while saying all this (and much more) they are inflicting pain on Desiree by saying she doesn't really want Kyron found. It's just an act, that everything she's said about Terri is a LIE because she's more interested in "getting back at Terri" for taking Kaine away from her. Do the supporters really believe all this?

Is it to anger Desiree? How horribly cruel!!!  Desiree has done NOTHING but try her best to FIND HER SON and if she wants to put pressure on Terri, then that is her right!

Is it to anger and get a rise out of those who believe Terri is responsible for Kyron's disappearance?  Well, they got what they what wanted didn't they?

I never said my reasons for not believing the hearing aid story was because I didn't "see" a hearing aid.

"Mazama", did you bother to watch the video's I linked that PROVES Terri was aware of what was being said at the June 11 press conference? If not, then you definitely need to, because someone is lying to you. 

You say unless we're friends with Terri, we don't know whether or not she has hearing problems -First off, why do you keep saying "hearing problems"? According to Sandi Lessman (aka thatkewlgirl,) Terri is DEAF. 

According to Sandi Lessman, Terri is SO deaf, she requires a hearing aid. 

According to Sandi Lessman, Terri, if not wearing these hearing aids, must read lips.

According to Sandi Lessman, Terri is SO deaf, that withOUT said hearing aids, peoples voices "sound like Charlie Browns mother." 

According to Sandi Lessman, Terri didn't hear ONE WORD that was being said at that June 11 conference, hence "the look" that was on her face. 

"Mazama", you seriously need to do some questioning of those you automatically believe, namely, Sandi Lessman aka thatkewlgirl, because, based SOLELY on those video's, you are being lied to. 

Is Sandi Lessman  friends with Terri? Not according to her.

  She "claims" that she's getting her wealth of information from "RELIABLE SOURCES", but won't say who those sources are. She "claims" she's never met Terri, but she's either a) in contact with Terri herself and listening to lies, b) in contact with one of Terri's friends (my guess would be Dede since she admitted they have met) and listening to lies, or c) she's KNOWINGLY lying and pulling the biggest scam to hit this case since Chana/SoCal. Now, which is it "Mazama"??  Don't you  think it's important to find out the truth? Because, again based on the video's, you've been fed a lie and have fallen for it hook, line AND sinker.

Scroll down to the list of those teachers who were being recognized for their service with PPS, then scroll on down to those with 10 years service. I don't care WHICH school(s) in the Portland area she spent the most time, you can NOT get away from the FACT that in 2010, she was being recognized for 10 years of service!!

Finally  how utterly comical that you have the NERVE to even address the issue of fake profiles while using a fake profile yourself. Talk about hypocrite!

Come on "Mazama", are you willing to post under YOUR real name. If not, then please don't expect others to.
